New Reasons

“maybe it’s the conscious effort that counts”

Notes to Self are longer journal entries from Seven Yrs Ago. Read Sticky, “conscious effort counts” for snipped poetry. I was 20 in late 2013.

Self-prescription: The important thing to remember is that even though you are depressed, you still need to live your life. You can be sad and stay inside for a while if you want to but remember to still go outside. When opportunities come, when invites happen, go because you need to get out of your head and eventually become a part of this world, not the virtual world that may or may not exist in your head.

How do you reconcile the feeling that you deserve to be sad with the wish that you don’t want to be sad anymore?

Whatever you’re most afraid of, that’s what you have to do

a lot of interesting fragments pieced together, no larger idea yet

maybe it’s the conscious effort that counts
